Terms of sale.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm dispatch, and we may decline an order — for example if a product is out of stock or a price was listed in error. If we decline, nothing is charged.

Prices are in US dollars and include no import duties for destinations outside the United States.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Where card payment is not available, we email a secure payment link and nothing ships until it is paid.

Returns

Thirty days from delivery, opened or unopened, for any reason. Faulty or incorrect items are refunded or replaced in full including return postage. Full detail is on the shipping page.

Product claims

The products we sell are cosmetics, not medicines. Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats or cures a medical condition, and results vary between people. Any claim about what a product does comes from the brand that makes it, not from us — we describe what is on the label rather than test the products ourselves.

If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under medical treatment, speak to a doctor or dermatologist before starting an active. Patch test anything new on your inner arm for three nights.

Reviews and content

This site does not display customer reviews or star ratings. We have not invented any, and we will not until there are genuine ones to publish — at which point they will be shown unedited, including the critical ones.

Product descriptions and ingredient lists come from the brands we stock. Text, photography and design on this site belong to NZ's Beauty and may not be reused commercially without permission.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law in your own country, including your right to a refund for goods that are faulty or not as described.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the version in force is the one published when you placed your order. Material changes are announced to the newsletter. Last updated 30 Oct 2026.
